Prop Static Ghost Lit with Blacklight Bolt in Window Halloween Yard Haunt How-to
BackMost haunters make flying crank ghosts out of RIT bleached gauze, a pulley system and motor. This is a static variation on that idea using a Kmart ghost and a blacklight bolt to add a little visual depth to the yard haunt. No need to bleach. The ghost glows under the light right out of the box. Even though it wasnt flying it was a big hit with ToTs & parents alike. The head of the ghost is very heavy plastic housing a motor and sound components for when its used as a flying ghost. Credit goes to my Dad for thinking of the photo flood light stands, curtain hooks and ankle weights to make the ghost hang correctly. Show & tell video was taken immediately following our Halloween Yard Haunt prior to dismantling. The unscripted prop descriptions are as complete as time would allow. Description followed by clips of ghost during Trick-or-Treat. Video Oct 31, 2006. Elyria, OH. Also visit www.hauntforum.com for more DIY yard haunt ideas and discussions.
