BackAt the age of three, KBN played his first music by ear. At the age of ten, he began playing the piano for his church's Sunday school and youth choir. He is a prolific song writer and God has blessed him to write hundreds of songs. KBN served as an evangelist for the Church on Wheels for two and a half years, ministering primarily to Los Angeles ' skid row area. He has ministered in song at various churches throughout the United States . The venues include Madison Square Garden , prisons, youth detention centers, college campuses, high schools, parks and even in the streets nationwide. KBN is a former member of Crenshaw Christian Center in Los Angeles , California under the leadership of Dr. Frederick K.C. Price, Pastor. While serving at Crenshaw Christian Center , he played a major role in the music department from 1988 to 1995. He ministered in song for many services and church functions. He also led praise and worship for Sunday morning worship services, as well as for "Ever Increasing Faith" crusades throughout the nation. He provided music ministry for Dr. Price's Tuesday night bible classes. KBN served as Minister of Music for the "Christian Entertainers Fellowship" of Los Angeles , California from 1990-1995 , which was f ounded by Frank Wilson and Ollie Brown served as president. He served as worship leader and provided music and audio support for the weekly bible study. In addition, the weekly bible studies were held at the residences of Smokie Robinson, Phillip Bailey, Florence LaRue, Paul Jackson, Jr., and Alaina Reed-Hall. KBN also served in the same capacity for the "Quarterly Christian Entertainers' Fellowship" luncheons and the annual "DaySpring Conference". His company, KBN Productions, provided the sound and audio support for all events. Since September of 1995, KBN and his family have reside d in St. Louis , MO. , serving as minister of music at St. Louis Christian Center , under the leadership of Dr. Alfred D. Harvey, Jr. , Pastor. His assignment from God was to establish and lay the foundation for the church 's music department. He started with 7 people in 1995, and at the completion of his assignment , 7 year's later, the department gr ew to 80 members , 7 praise teams, a full band and a choir. KBN completed that assignment in 2002 with God and the pastor's blessing. KBN is still a member of St. Louis Christian Center where he continues to play major supportive role s in the music department, while training and developing all audio technicians .
