The year is 1692 and five families with the power of witchcraft have formed a covenant of silence to protect them. Cut to 2006 in the film The Covenant where the descendants of the secret legacy are challenged with stopping the evil force they released into the world years earlier. Steven Strait last seen in the indie film Undiscovered plays the leader of the covenant.
