if you look at other sites you will see that many more scienctits, enviromentalists, and orginizations agree that CO2 is a major contributor to global waming. there are tonnes and tonnes of evidence supporting them and much less supporting those scientists. Note that some may be representing companies that gains huge profits from oil, some may be very enxeperianced and som may have been bribed with money to sign it

The Manhattan declaration on climate change, the meeting was held in New York from Feb.29 to March 4th, 2008. 500 scientists signed the declaration stating that CO2 is not a polutant and has no effect on the temperature.
Look it up on google.
They also stated that global warming is not a result of human action on the planet.

sorry. it may have been the projected change. Note that in the book WE ARE THE WETHEAR MAKERS the are a lot of reliable evidence that CO2 is a major pollutant. Also note that big companies and corporations report small uncertainties in scientist reports to undermine the massive evidence supporting global warming.
P.S i couldn't find the manhattan declaration. all i saw was blogs on google

The temperature rise in the last one hundred years is .6 degress celcius, not the 3 you wrote in your comments.
The anouncement was called the manhattan declaration, just google that.

even if what you say is true, SCIENTIFCIC study shows that CO2 is a MAJOR POLLUTANT AND that over the past 30 years the average tampature on earth has risen 3 degrees celcius (it also shows that that tempature rise is more significant than you think). the evidence all points to pollution by Humans
P.S can you cite where you got your information from when you said "Of the total pollutants in the air, man is responsible for only 3% of them," to see if your information is reliable
peakyone (December 11th, 2008 @ 1:43 pm)
I agree there are too many pollutants in the air, but I disagree that CO2 is one of them.
Of course the weather is changing, we went through several ice ages in the past and I am sure there will be several more in the future.
I have news for you if we are going into a warming or cooling period, man can do nothing about it.
Of the total pollutants in the air, man is responsible for only 3% of them, the rest are natural causes.
greenguygreen (December 11th, 2008 @ 12:00 am)
plants are dying because there are TOO MUCH pollutants in the air. SCIENTISTS have publishind all the facts for the last 30 years! it's not a lie, it's not an uncertainty. it's a FACT

Air polution in China is from smog, caused by industry gone amuck without any control. There is not too much CO2 in the air, we need more for healthy plants. Don't get this mixed up with air polutants i.e. carbon dust and other particals.
You green nuts would have the world stop everything. Man contributes only 3% of the polutants in the air so even if we stopped everything it would do very little to help.
Try reading a book or doing real research.
You know nothing about global warming.

yes C02 helps plants but too much. (water vaper is made in high concentrations of co2 beacause of the greenhouse effect) but cuurently there is too much. it theatens humand life. thousands of people already died because of bad air pollution in china

What is the Green Party doing to protect human rights in regards to male genital integrity regarding Male Genital Mutilation (MGM), aka Routine Infant Circumcision (RIC)? In this country, it's illegal to amputate the genitals of females for a very long time, but males are not afforded this protection. If the GP is for protecting human rights, there should be equal protection for minor males in Canada, too. :]
