top 100 according to who? and favorite doesn't mean best.. IMHO most rock bands that hit it big today have drummers at least as good, if not better than Karen..

Im an idiot? You dont think anorexia nervosa was an issue for her? Its morons like you who didnt see her signs of emotional breakdown that led to her death. She would be alive today still giving us joy with her music had it not been for peoples off handed comments as to her weight.

She was one hell of a ball of talent! It's such a shame and huge loose for us that her issues got the best of her.

Furthermore she can play and sing while playing some fairly difficult stuff. That's the thing. Very few drummers are also vocalists because it is inherently difficult to play drums and sing. Trust me I've tried.

She actually studied drumming. She has technique and plays like a jazz drummer. That's why she's a real drummer unlike most rock n'roll drummers who really usually rely on brute force and learn by watching but really can't play anything else but rock. Not dissing anybody but Karen is really far better than a lot of famous rock and roll drummers out there. She can play rock but they can't play jazz, samba and all the other stuff she can play.
