I know this is a serious scene, and don't get me wrong, I live for Shelley Duvall, but whenever she's in the frame with those buck teeth and perm, I CRACK UP!!

Yeah, Lily Tomlin is the star of the scene, not the singer. But the song is great and well performed. Anyone could have sung it, but few could have pulled off what Lily Tomlin did. I agree with others, maybe the most memorable part of that great movie.

I think Lily Tomlin should have won the Oscar she was nominated for. I love this scene because all those girls in there that are smirking so think ti's about them and the one that it's about is in the back just spellbound.
